Snake oil and the Trump White House

Trump brought the RFK Jr snake oil road show to the White House.

“Yesterday, HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s traveling medicine show made a stop at the White House, where President Trump was the featured barker at an off-the-rails press conference. Taking unscientific aim at vaccines and unsubstantiated links between Tylenoland autism, the president went on a long, meandering musing reminiscent of some of the worst of his COVID-era pressers touting bleach and ultraviolet light.”

Of course, Trump’s goal is not improving the health of Americans, it’s to sow doubt about science and medicine. Vladimir Putin is smiling.

So Trump is suing Rupert Murdoch for defamation because of the release of a salacious doodle. Nothing remarkable about Donald J. Trump weaponizing the legal system against his opponents, I know.
