Televising the Trump treason trials

I have to admit to ambivalence about televising the Federal and Georgia state Trump treason trials. On the one hand, I think that we're best served when justice is conducted in the clear light of day. On the other hand, TV invites spectacle, both in the courtroom and outside. The threat of violence is real for these trials, and the threat that these solemn proceedings will morph into reality TV is real, unless the judge exerts strict control.
