Remembering the Mann Gulch fire, 1949

 I missed noting that 5 August is the anniversary of the Mann Gulch fire. With all the wildfires still going on out west, it's an important story to know. If you don't, here's a summary:

James Keelaghan's song "Cold Missouri Waters" tells the story from the point of view of Wagner Dodge, the jump crew leader who survived by lighting a safety fire.
